When the cupboards are already full and someone says “I don’t need anything” again, give them a ticket. A ticket needs no shelf space, no wrapping, and it gives you a reason to go somewhere together. Here are 10 experience gifts in Estonia with real 2026 prices, plus whether each place sells a gift card, how long it is valid and where to buy it.
My own answer is simple: travel is always the best gift. In our family, everyone gets a trip as a present.
I checked every price on the official websites in early November 2026. Prices can change at the start of the year, so a gift card or an open-date ticket is a safer bet than a ticket for a fixed day.
Tallinn
TV Tower: the view, the edge walk and a good weather guarantee
The Tallinn TV Tower (Teletorn) has the highest viewing platform in Tallinn. It works well as a winter gift because of its good weather guarantee: if visibility is poor, you can come back for free within two months.
- Price: adult ticket 18 € (online) or 19 € (on site), reduced ticket 13 €, family ticket 36 €. The evening ticket from 17:00 to 19:00 costs 10 €. The edge walk at 175 metres is 41 to 45 €.
- Gift card: valid for 365 days from purchase, for one visit. Sold in the TV Tower online shop.
- Who it suits: couples, grandparents, anyone who likes heights (the edge walk).
I did the edge walk around 2018 and it was great fun. Just don’t give it as a surprise to someone who is afraid of heights.
Seaplane Harbour: a submarine and seaplanes under one roof
At the Seaplane Harbour (Lennusadam) you can climb inside the submarine Lembit and look at the seaplanes, and the icebreaker Suur Tõll is moored at the quay. More detail in my Seaplane Harbour guide.

- Price 2026: adult ticket 22 €, child or student (9 to 18) 11 €, family ticket 40 €. Under 8s go free. Combined ticket with Fat Margaret 30 € (family 60 €). The Maritime Museum annual card MM KAART costs 70 €, or 100 € for a family.
- Gift card: through kingitus.ee, 22 € for one, 44 € for two, 40 € for a family. Valid for 3 years and sent by email. The Maritime Museum’s own ticket page and online shop don’t sell a separate gift card, so kingitus.ee is where you get one. MM KAART holders also get two free gift cards that let friends into the Seaplane Harbour and Fat Margaret.
- Who it suits: sea lovers, tech fans, families with kids.
Tallinn Old Town tour: a gift for a visitor, or for someone who lives here
If you are visiting Estonia over Christmas, or have friends or family coming to stay, a two-hour guided walk through the Old Town is a good fit. The tour runs every day, holidays included, and covers Town Hall Square, Toompea and the viewing platforms. It is rated 4.8 out of 5 on GetYourGuide.

- Price: depends on the date and group size, see the widget below for the current price.
- Who it suits: visitors, people new to Tallinn, history buffs.
Tartu
ERM: the Estonian National Museum as a gift
The ERM is a good gift for someone who hasn’t made it to Tartu in a while. The gift tickets are real paper and fit nicely in a gift bag.

- Price: whole-museum adult ticket 16 €, reduced ticket 12 €, family ticket 32 €. Annual ticket 45 €, family annual ticket 75 €.
- Gift ticket: paper ticket 16 € or family ticket 32 €, valid for 1 year from purchase and also accepted at the ERM’s Heimtali museum. You can have it sent home, to a parcel locker, or pick it up at the info desk. The online shop also sells money gift cards of 10, 20, 30 and 50 €.
- Open: Tue to Sun, 10:00 to 18:00, closed on Mondays.
- Who it suits: anyone curious about Estonian history, and families.
For tips on visiting with kids, see our ERM review.
AHHAA Science Centre: a gift card for any amount
AHHAA is Tartu’s science centre, with a planetarium. Its gift card is the most flexible on this list: you choose the amount.
- Price: adult 20 €, reduced ticket 15 €, family ticket 45 €, family with planetarium 65 €. Pre-school children go free.
- Gift card: 5 to 500 €, sent by email. You pick the background and the language (Estonian, English, Russian) and can add a greeting. Valid for 12 months, and any balance can be used over several visits. Accepted at the ticket desk, the science shop and the online shop.
- Who it suits: families, curious teenagers, and adults who want to see the planetarium.
Around Estonia
Museum card: 130 museums in one gift
If you don’t know what to give, the museum card (Muuseumikaart) is the safest choice. A year of unlimited entry to more than 130 museums and 500 exhibitions, including the ERM and the Seaplane Harbour.

- Price: 75 € (renewal 69 €).
- As a gift: you can send the e-gift card to the recipient’s email, or buy a paper gift card in an envelope, also 75 €. The recipient activates the code themselves, so you don’t need to enter their personal details. Paper cards are also sold in places like Selver supermarkets.
- Validity: the gift card generally has to be exchanged for a museum card within 12 months of purchase. The card itself is valid for 12 months from the first visit (or from 180 days after purchase at the latest). The card is personal.
- Who it suits: anyone who goes to a museum at least five times a year.
I worked out whether it pays off in my museum card article.
I couldn’t find confirmation on the museum card website that AHHAA or the TV Tower are free with the card, and the TV Tower’s own ticket page doesn’t list the museum card among its discount cards. If you’re giving the card to someone who wants to go to exactly these places, check the list on muuseumikaart.ee before you buy.
Spa day or spa stay: Pärnu, Haapsalu, Tallinn, Lake Peipus
A spa is the classic Christmas gift, but note that spa gift cards often run out sooner than museum ones. The Hedon and Kalev Spa gift cards are valid for 6 months. If you give one for Christmas, the recipient has to go by June at the latest.
Pärnu: Hedon Spa & Hotel. On Rannapuiestee, right by Pärnu beach. The Slow Sunday day spa package costs 55 € per person, the romantic day spa starts from 97 €. You choose the gift card amount. It is valid for 6 months and works for the spa, accommodation and the restaurants. See Hedon Spa prices on Booking
Haapsalu: Fra Mare Thalasso Spa. By the sea, a walk from the town centre, with a sauna and pool centre. Fra Mare is one of 15 spas that accept the Estonian Spa Association gift card (25, 50 or 100 €, valid for 12 months, arrives by email in a few minutes). A good choice when you don’t know which spa the recipient prefers. See Fra Mare prices on Booking
Tallinn: Kalev Spa. In the city centre. Tallinn’s biggest water park, with a 50 metre pool and the 18+ Sauna Oasis (Saunaoaas). A water park day ticket for an adult is 24 € (Mon to Fri) or 28 € (Sat and Sun), the Sauna Oasis 34 € (weekdays) or 42 € (weekends). Money gift card in the online shop, valid for up to 6 months. See Kalev Spa prices on Booking
Lake Peipus: Kurro nature spa. The newcomer. Kurro opened in summer 2026 in Alutaguse parish, between the forests of Alutaguse National Park and Lake Peipus. According to ERR, Estonia’s public broadcaster, it is the first big holiday complex on the northern shore of Lake Peipus in over 40 years. I couldn’t find the gift card price or validity in official sources, so ask the spa directly before you buy.
My favourite is V Spa in Tallinn. Kurro is the one I want to try next.
Sled dog ride in Tartu County
A husky farm visit where you drive your own dog team is a gift people still talk about in summer. This tour takes place in Tartu County, lasts about 10 hours and is private to your group. The farm introduces you to more than 20 Siberian huskies.

- Price: the tour is priced per group and depends on the date and group size. See the widget below for the current price in euros.
- Note: Estonian winters are unpredictable and there may be no snow. Ask the organiser before booking how the ride works without snow.
- Who it suits: animal lovers, adventurers, couples who want something different in winter.
If you want something closer to Tallinn, see all sled dog tours on GetYourGuide.
Helsinki day trip by ferry
A ferry ticket to Helsinki is a good gift for two: two hours on the boat, a day in Helsinki, back in the evening. Fares depend on the company, the day and the departure time, and they change all the time, so check the current price on the ferry company’s website or in the comparison below.

- Gift card: Tallink gift cards are sold in the online shop at 10, 50 or 100 €. They cover ferry tickets, cabins, meals and excursions, but not onboard shopping. The trip has to be made before the gift card expires. According to Viking Line’s Finnish website, their gift card is valid for 24 months from purchase, you choose the amount, and you can also buy it at their Tallinn sales office. The validity can’t be extended and the card can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Ferry tickets: compare Tallinn to Helsinki ferry tickets
- Ready-made day package: return Tallink ferry ticket, with up to 10 hours on your own in Helsinki.
Our tips for Christmas week in Helsinki are in our Christmas in Finland 2026 guide. My own Helsinki day would go like this: first the pools at Allas Sea Pool by the South Harbour, then cafés, and finally the Moomin shop.
Concert and theatre gift cards
If you don’t know the recipient’s taste, a ticket seller’s gift card beats tickets to a specific show.
- Piletilevi gift ticket: 10, 15, 20, 30, 50 or 100 €, valid for 1 year from purchase. Works for every Piletilevi event: theatre, concerts, sport, festivals. You can send it via Omniva and set a reminder 30 days before it expires. Any unused balance is not refunded.
- Piletikeskus gift card: sent by email, and you can buy different amounts in one order (for example 4 × 20 € and 3 × 10 €). Valid for 1 year, unused balance is not refunded.
- Theatres’ own gift cards: for example, the Tallinn City Theatre and Vanemuine gift cards are sold through Piletilevi and Piletikeskus.

Practical: how to turn an e-ticket into a gift
Make the e-ticket look good. Most gift cards come as a PDF (AHHAA, Piletikeskus, the museum card, the Spa Association). Print it on thick paper, put it in an envelope and add a handwritten card. AHHAA and Piletikeskus let you choose the design and the greeting yourself.
Check the validity before you buy. Gift cards vary a lot:
- 6 months: Hedon, Kalev Spa
- 1 year: TV Tower, ERM, AHHAA, Piletilevi, Piletikeskus, Spa Association
- museum card: 12 months to exchange, then another 12 months to use
- 3 years: Seaplane Harbour gift card via kingitus.ee
Write the expiry date on the envelope so nobody forgets.
Last order dates. E-gift cards arrive within minutes, so you can buy them on the morning of 24 December. If you’re ordering a paper gift card by post, leave yourself some margin. In early November, Omniva, the Estonian postal service, had not yet published its 2026 Christmas deadlines. In 2021, for example, a domestic Christmas parcel had to be sent from a parcel locker by 22 December at the latest. Before you order, check this year’s dates on omniva.ee in December.
Personal cards. The museum card is personal, so give the gift card, not a card bought in your own name.
